I hope this finds everyone doing well. As we prepare for the start of a new school year or the end of an incredibly hot summer, there is some AGO news of which you should be aware. first of all, it is not too late to turn in your dues for the upcoming year. for those of you who were members last year, do not allow your membership to lapse! Lapsed memberships take some time to get back on the mailing list from headquarters. So, please...send in your dues!
Your board has been hard at work (thanks to all of them!) planning a wonderful year of programs that will include a workshop on "Gospel Style for Dummies", a "Pedals, Pipes and Pizza" event in Lawton, hymn festivals, members' recitals and more! So, don't miss out...pay your dues! (excuse me...did I already say that?!)
To get things rolling, we will be having a get together at the home of Cindy Pullin (3818 Cedarbrook Ct., Norman) on Friday, August 26th at 6:30 p.m. For those of you who joined us last year at this event, it was a wonderful evening. More details will follow, but be prepared to come and join us for food and fellowship. I will look forward to seeing all of you there. Bring friends, family, potential new members, and anyone with whom you would like to share your love for the Southern Plains AGO chapter! See you then....
